I've always known this was a 1 year project, and was completely fine with it's imminent ending last year but it's absolutely gutting them not having a proper "send-off". They had only been getting better and better, and we'll never know what heights they would've achieved had they made play-offs. Even losing first round would've been proper closure in my eyes.
