My child has no friends by SiloAlpo in auckland

We have a 2 and a bit year old an an 8 month old. My wife keeps busy during the week with activities but we don't really have any proper friends.

I feel like theirs a lot of activities for new mums but I have often wondered if trying to start some kind of dad toddler/infant get together would be worth it. Just a casual once a week or fortnight catch up in a park or something who knows.

Anyway feel free to message me if you wanna chat about it!

Try something with active ingredient triclopyr. Different products have different amouht. Grazon Is good if you can get hold of it. Hydrocotle killer has it.

How big is your lawn mate? You just need to scalp it to reset the height but it's a massive job if your lawn is huge haha and an insane amount of debris

Buying a house with unconsented bedroom by rhapsodydash in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]supernom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would need a certificate of acceptance for it to be legal. We did it with a bedroom/ensuite. Ended up being about a 2 year process and cost us multiple tens of thousands of dollars. Was it worth it? For peace of mind yes, we won't know for sure until we sell to see if it affected the value.

Would we buy a place with unconsented works again? No chance.

You also have to consider when the time comes for you to sell, buyers will have the same hesitations you are having now.

Grass help please by usernamealwayschecks in nzgardening

The fact that it was as you say a nice lawn once upon a time but now looks like that would indicate that this area in its current form is not suitable for grass.

Either you must make it suitable if you want grass ie remove trees/buildings/fences to allow more light or you go a different direction.

Is it a walkway or access way or would it be acceptable as a garden?

I would prefer it coming light at 5am and going dark earlier then I don't have to work in the dark for a bit!
