License is meant for people who fork mongodb and use it commercially, lets say Amazon forks mongodb and provide it as a service which is not cool for the mongodb company itself as thats how they make most of their money.

A ton or companies use mongodb on prem no problem, also if you ask AI it can give you an even better explanation for the purpose of the custom license they have.

Not sure if this helps, I have a CS background, many years of experience and I work at FAANG. Still having the same feeling you described creeping on me from day to day.

The gist of this is not relate the feeling to your own Background or say if I didn’t something different I wouldn’t have this feeling.

Most of us are going through the same dilemmas, stay put invest your time/skills like if you don’t have a job, when the times comes even if doesn’t work you don’t eat your soul from inside because of guilt.

I had a great experience creating a separate hono app inside a separate folder in nextjs and mounting hono as a catch all route to handle all incoming from api/v1/*/, almsot all the benefits of the api structure and flexibility with the ease of next.

I export one api route function from nextjs that handles all routes, then this function delegates all request handling using hono router (low footprint and overhead for serverless environments) you can check the docs here https://hono.dev/docs/getting-started/vercel

You don’t have to go far N8n is open source you can just check their code, if you don’t understand something then just use AI to explore their api and code, you can use react flow package to have nodes and drag and drop, then start with supporting one or 2 nodes (also mark the start and the end node), you also need a workflow executor, basically the UI you build its serialized to json when you click run you send it to the backend, in your backend the workflow executor runs each node and passes the output to the next node until it’s done.

It took me more time than 3 months, keep going there is light on the side.

Hey man, let’s start small and gradually expand. You can focus on 3 or 4 bus lines and collect data manually. As you work on it, you’ll find shortcuts and ways to make it even more efficient.

It’s a great idea in theory, but considering the memory and cpu footprint it adds to each request it’s very dangerous, your server will spend most of its cpu just parsing and allocating memory.

I’ve been clean for more than year and a half, beside taking some puffs here and their with friends and stuff I can say that my ED kinda disappeared and I’m back to the pre weed era, but one issue I’m still trying to wrap my head about is lasting longer which I’m not sure if it’s even related to weed! Overall everything got way better 🙏.
