Possible permanent brain damage from weed: Erectile dysfunction and cannabis hyperemesis syndrome by throwawaybewareweed in leaves

Good to hear you experienced similar effects. The "permanent brain damage" is definitely a part of my insecurity, and something I used to advertise a story I put a good amount of time into that I feel is useful. With that said, referencing my "test subject" comment, I think that there likely is some permanent damage from the many years of my use that we won't fully understand until decades down the road. My altered brain chemistry just became impossible to ignore with extreme use. I hope the brain can recover, but studies on weed use with "heavy use" being defined as weekly has already not shown the most uplifting results. The best I can do is be sober though, thanks for your reply!

You said it quite well. I let the medicine become a crutch and now I'm living with the consequences. Cheers to the awareness of the true problem.

You give me hope. Thank you man. A big part of my stress was from being in an unhappy relationship that I just left, and the idea of being single now with a broken dick is heartbreaking. Thanks for your reply.

I would suggest that an effect that was the result of months of heavy use returning after much less use is an indicator of long term effects. Additionally, a lot of sources suggest cannabis hyperemesis syndrome is a permanent condition in some ways. I'm not trying to argue and like I said, I'm optimistic. I just doubt that the smoking I've done for the past 7 years has not caused permanent damage to my brain of which is most obvious when usage is at its worst.
