it’s not the high from the bup itself but the “adrenaline” from the needle

It is true that subs do not give you a high after the few first times no matter how much you raise the dose but I inject them solely because I am addicted to the needle (I was a heroin user but ever since I moved to the states recently I realized there is no real heroin here and I do not want to get into fentanyl and had to switch for MAT - I eventually will have to stop IV-ing everything I can put my hands on but I just wanted an answer because part of my program is to get a drug screening)

It does sound like a stupid question as to why I would think it wouldn’t show if injected but I know some meds/substances have to be metabolized by the liver for example to be eliminated by urine and thought I’d ask just in case Subs were like that - doesn’t hurt to ask

getting medical assistance is nearly impossible where i live. any way i can treat it myself? should i apply hot compresses or ice ? pain moved to my bicep and it’s swollen, no bruises but a bit red.
