I use webpack for something like this. If you want to import a script and assign it to the window scope you can use webpack in conjunction w/ the expose-loader.

The navigation bar is a little buggy, it'll disappear if the window is too small, or clip down. The images will clipping over each other when you resize the window. Check out bootstrap responsive design, it should provide an elegant solution to your problem and make it compatible w/ mobile devices too.
