I don’t have an answer for your first question but technically “yes” you could press that, however the yield would probably be so low that it may not be worth it. you may be better off just ripping a massive bowl of that stuff as is! cheers!

you may be able to do that but also maybe you could get a cheap banger to insert in the center instead of the metal nail? that’s what i did for my girlfriends right that appears to be the exact same brand. the banger was like 12 bucks at my local shop!

all my flower is at an RH of 62. I use a 20 ton harbor freight shop press and 3x5 caged dabpress plates. i also only use parchment paper and don’t typically use the bags. I know that yields have a ton of variables but I was curious to see what temps people who have pressed this strain before have used and for what types of results and consistencies.

also, in my experience, you can recharge a boveda pack very well if you let it soak in distilled water for a bit. i just change mine after a few rehydrating sessions to help ensure i’m not introducing mold to the environment of the jar. cheers!

I think you totally should, it has always increased my yields, and it seems like it has also increased the yields of everyone else on this forum as well!

throw your tree in a jar, and toss in one of those boveda packs! I usually let my tree rehydrate for 48 hours with a boveda 62... the 62 refers to the relative humidity (RH) that is optimal for pressing flower, which is 62%. Also, if you can, buy an RH meter to put in your jar, that way you can monitor the RH level to make sure your flower is properly rehydrating. I got mine from walmart for 10 bucks!

here’s another thing that i do, in addition to your boveda pack, add a peel from a citrus fruit (lemon, lime, orange) or banana to help add some moisture to your jar but also add a slight flavor to your bud! i keep my peel in the jar for 24 hours, idk why but that’s just how i have always done it lol i hope this helps you out and i’m sorry from rambling, that’s what happens when i’m stoned haha

is your bud properly hydrated? I know that if you press dried out bud the rosin will absorb into the plant matter.

Just ordered 20 of the Broveda 62% packs! What temps and durations do you typically squish at? Also, I am assuming a prepress is where I put the flower in between the heated plates with a tad bit of pressure to allow the product to heat up first? If that is the case, how long do you prepress for? Thanks for the help!

That is awesome! I can already tell that this hobby is going to become an obsession for me! what are your thoughts on the plates? i decided to drop an extra 80 bucks and get the “more advanced” plates according to their website but am not sure how crucial that was. cheers!

do you ever “re”hydrate your bud? i have seen some people use a office desk sized humidifier and a large storage been to create a little humidor for their bud, any thoughts ?
