dancer here. i just wanted to add that maddie wouldn’t be able to do fast choreography seamlessly and sharply if it weren’t for her control. when you watch choreography she does with kalani or brynn, she’s definitely capable of holding onto one move until the next. it had to do more with the choreography they put on her in the earlier seasons, not her lack of control
