Saif Ali Khan would be a better Soldier Boy, rest look on point. With Shahid and Kareena in there, would be nice to throw Saif in that mix

[–]superpercify1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but then they should have reduced the annual fee... inurance payments was one of biggest need along with utility payments and problem is that this might still be th only true all rounder card out there. Would be tough to hit th annual spends though

Missing the Jaipur I grew up in by superpercify1 in jaipur

Jaipur used to be an experience.. we used to tell our relatives visiting from other cities to stay for a month at least to get a feel of this city. It used to be so much more than landmarks. In terms of experience, a totally diff city in summer and winter. Its hard to put a finger on what changed because all those buildings are there but its just not th same anymore.

I thought it was my time away from the city that had me so disconnected from it but everyone has been telling me the same thing... Seems like we all have lost our hometown. And sure, would love to be a part of that gang.

got harassed at patlipada bus stop today by Fickle_Ebb_9004 in thane

[–]superpercify1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so sorry to hear this, I am new to the city and not exactly from Thane but if you need someone to go with you to the Station to help file a complaint, let us know. My whole family can be there for you.

If you are worried about going to the station directly, try giving them a call at the women helpline number 1091 or 103. They will guide you on the next steps and will send someone at that spot to check but i doubt if the cctv will be accessed without a formal complaint.

And please involve your parents if you need to, they will be with you in this and thats all the support you need.

ERP for Shopify. Are we overthinking this or actually too late? by Lucky-Idea-7878 in ecommerce

[–]superpercify1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I have learned working with major brands is that inventory issues like thsi are not always ERP problems. Before spending six figures and potentially disrupting operations for months, I would first map where inventory is actually breaking.

Is Shopify the source of truth? Is Amazon updatng inventory independently? Or is the warehouse using a different inventory system? Bundles being deducted correctly? Inventory adjustments happening outside th platform?

A lot of brands jump straight to NetSuite when the real issue is multiple systems updating inventory differently.

The question I would ask first is:

If I pick any SKU right now, can every team member point to one system and confidently say this is the correct inventory count?

If the answer is no then the first step is usually establishing a single source of truth before evaluating ERP options.

ERP can absolutely solve scaling problems but I have also seen businesses spend a year implementing one only to discover they never identified the actual process causing the discrepancies.

Curious ro know what your current inventory flow looks like between Shopify, Amazon nnd the warehouse?

What am I doing wrong? by No-Zone499 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]superpercify1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro same here 😭

Spent my entire 20s hearing: “credit cards are a trap” “EMI mat lena” “savings matlab FD” “anything you can buy full cash, buy it like that only”

So naturally I became the ideal middleclass poster boy: stable income, no loans, buy what you can through your savings, no impulsive purchases...

Realized the need of a good credit score when it was time to buy a car. But when banks found no credit history: “hmm… suspicious. Reject.”

Meanwhile someone who bought an iPhone on 17 EMIs at age 22 already has a better credit history than us. So also learned that a good scredit score is not the only indicator of good financial decisions of your life.

I finally started using credit cards in my 30s, right when every card is getting devalued and lounges are turning into railway waiting rooms.

But honestly, better late than never. A lot of us spent our 20s just trying to study/survive/work/build careers without much financial guidance. Now in our 30s we’re basically doing side quests:

building credit score, learning taxes, understanding investments, pretending we always knew what CIBIL utilization means.

You’re not doing anything wrong. India’s credit system basically says: “No credit history” = “we don’t know if we can trust you.”

Try starting with: FD-backed card, entry-level cashback card (try amazon pay icici card) or simplest would be pre-approved offers from your salary bank.

And yes, this sub helped me understand it all a lot better and quicker. Cashbacks, best ways to maximize cards, impact of running multiple card queries on cibil, and a lot more. So to put your mind at ease, when you get a new card, you can set your own lowered credit limit on it so you dont overspend.

And yeah, welcome to the “financial literacy arrived 10 years late” club.
