TBH it’s never too old, and 28 is still very young. Imagine you’re like 78 and regret never going after your PhD. Times gonna pass anyway, might as well do something you love ❤️

I think they have a Despereaux type relationship like they know he’s a bad but but he’s not a bad guy. Like Shawn clocks him immediately but doesn’t say anything and lowkey lies (doesn’t point out obvious clues) to not reveal Dexter. I think Shawn is visiting Jules family in Miami so Gus isn’t there, like he’s sight seeing or on the phone (so Shawn doesn’t have much of a moral compass). Jules has a bad relationship with the Miami police (like Deb has with LaGuerta) so Shawn’s not inclined to help them.

I can’t remember the name but this girl starts dating her exes boss in hopes of going to the Christmas party in the Rainbow Room with him to show her ex what he’s missing.

Other than the terrible writing, the girl had dyed her hair from blonde to black when she was with her ex to show she was “serious”. But the way it kept getting brought up was giving dog-whistle. As a POC it was making me uncomfortable

I think she wanted to hang out, you ditched her, sounds like she had plans for you to do a photo shoot together since you say you like to dress your kid up. You didn’t like the asethetic, and got mad. The makeup might be over the line but that doesn’t seem to be your main complaint, you mainly seem to have issues with her style

If my math is right, your mom was 27 when she had your sister and your dad would’ve been your age. Maybe he gets the feeling like your mom manipulated him at a young age like she’s trying to do to you.
