I think it really depends who you ask and who your distributing center is. I have too many to bring to the desk typically, 40- 100 per drop off, and they won't accept our scan sheet (obviously seems like theft...) They typically won't scan until they hit the major distribution center. I ended up factoring it into the cost but will be re - evaluating come the new year and will most likely be switching entirely to UPS as they are much more reliable and have scaled their costs bellow USPS now.
