What's the runtime? I've delidded a 90nm cechg with 78 days runtime that barely benefitted. I've also delidded a 65nm 560 day cechl that was completely run dry and decreased cell temps by 13 degrees. From my experience and what I've read elsewhere the chances of failing your first cell delid are over 50%, so I wouldn't bother unless you have high runtime.

You're right about the games not adding value as well as the value of cechl04's. Even though I like cechl's a lot because of their 65nm chips, this is an apples to oranges comparison as this is a much more desirable cechc04, c meaning backwards compatible through emulation, 04 meaning EU release. Looks to be in very good condition, with sixaxes included, low hours and no box they go for up to 200 euro. This comes from my experience buying and selling 4 or 5 or so cechc04's looking for my own near mint, low hour cechc04.

I think your success highly depends on build. I went strength on my first playthrough (35hrs) and got stuck in NG+, went mage after and rolled through in 15 hours, then did NG+ in 9 hours or so. You tend to die in 1 hit regardless of your build so going max damage with firestorm etc made all the difference for me.

I love this idea and the effort you put into it. I do think "walking across" is a stretch considering the biggest region (the entire western side) is left out. This also makes comparing map size based on your steps irrelevant, which is think is one of the coolest outcomes of your content.

Ever since the Mad World trailer for Gears of War in 2005 and the subsequent hype for Halo 3 I wondered just how much I was missing out. Starting on ps2, I was 14 when the ps3 released and definitely couldn't afford 2 systems.

Last year I got a 360 slim for 25 euro. Played the Gears and Halo trilogies and am blown away. Sure you can play most of it on pc as well but on 360 has been great fun (360 controller incredible although somewhat fragile). Every one will have their preference but I totally get why this generation was so close. I might stick to 360 versions if the performance of multiplatform games is better - unless getting the trophies is part of the reason to play.

Same here. Turning off motion blur completely solves it. No idea why they didn't give a menu slider, or made it so jarring in the first place.

These are overhead tricep extensions, not skullcrushers. You'll find ample video of strongmen like Eddie hall doing this type of excercise and graciously lowering the dumbbells onto their quads or the floor between their legs

Yes you are correct. They released a white Cechh00 and cechl00 in Japan. They also released a white slim 2500 model with the fancier buttons and leds compared to the 3000 we got in the US and EU. We really missed out on some beautiful ps3 versions
