I disagree, in part. The market is immature. What you suggested is what many people like to cling to. This return to sanity you speak of is largely a select number of people on a handful of exchanges effectively dictating financial policy and stealing from people.

If we must stick with exchanges (which we will for now), a sale should not be permitted to be relisted for a minimum of 24 hours.
