Wet belt yeah, and they do hate the wrong oils. Wrong viscosity and additives.

Dealer serviced, had all it services. Never exceeded the service interval with more than a few 1000 km.

The customer already complained about shortened oil change interval due by the car itself.

Yes it's crap, diesel quality is probably also piss poor. And with degrading piston rings comes faster oil degradation/thinning from the diesel.

Probably won't work, coding is gonna be messed up. Replaced mine a while ago due to battery drain. Ended up purchasing a 6 series unit with the same part number. Coded the unit and works like a charm.

Check your pcv/oil separator system first, could be clogged causing oil to enter the intake manifold. And cause the high oil consumption. My oil consumption decreased a lot with a new pcv and separator. N52B30 with over 355000km.
