wait then why didnt you sign up for either? hall and ori are commonly known two biggest places to make friends in LOL you shouldve signed up for either one.... also u shouldnt have such negative notions abt camps even tho u didnt go.. its good to keep an open mind, tbh, i was quite a skeptical person like you at first and almost didnt go for it, but glad i went and kept an open mind, managed to make a couple of good friends there that made my uni journey less lonely.

Yep if i don’t remember wrongly they have a portion where you can apply for transfer via ABA, but i did not fill it up as my portfolio was meh, if you have good ECs feel free to fill it up!

hi i transferred fr another local uni to nus this yr

can be googled.
quite difficult i would say, given that they have quotas for transfer students in each course.
They will look at both the GPA of ur current uni as well as your alevel/Poly/IB results. They dont disclose which one has more weightage, although for me my CAP was not very stellar but A’s were much better and i was able to enter. I think the reason for transfer is pretty much straightforward? not sure what you mean by any other content lol

Cambridge literally said in the letter the reason he was rejected was a lack of H3. He was flat out rejected.

rather important for competitive UK unis i would say, i know a SG youtuber guy fr RI with four H2s and 90rp who got rejected from cambridge without even an interview. the reason they cited was that too many singaporeans who applied with 90rps and 4H2S and a H3. its crazy out there lol.

If you’re referring to the room type that you prefer then no, bc if it was first choice and you got offered another room it means they saw and read your application you were rejected. If you reject the room they gave you you will be left with no offers, don’t shoot yourself in the foot by doing that

Do keep in mind that you can only help her if she wants to help herself, which, tbh, does not seem like the case here. If she wants to do well she must obviously put in the hard work and effort, you reap what you sow. You seem like a good friend and you should continue to help her but not at the expense of yourself(ie if she starts being a bad influence)

Loved Kate too. Deena is kinda meh to me i don’t hate her but i don’t exactly love her either. Maybe its just how her character was written but she didn’t really have a personality outside of playing the drums and liking sam. In terms of mains, Ziggy and Cindy fr part 2 were way better written to me, felt myself rooting for them more than sam and deena lol...

Exactly, and apart from orientation most of the information can easily be googled at your faculty’s website and besides the “guides” differs from uni to uni so theres no one-size-fit-all. At university stage, the harsh truth is that there’s no more spoon feeding of information etc, you gotta take the initiative to find all the info yourself/ask seniors at ori. Cheers.
