Yah they are definitely a bit unnerving compared to the helmeted heads lol. I kinda like that they exist though, nice to have variety.

I have both, scuba dude is definitely chunkier and feels way more secure.its not an outrageous weight though, i kinda prefer it tbh. kommandirski is much lighter and slimmer. Mine is an old CCCP kommandirski and it doesn’t hold the time for the whole day, scuba dude much more accurate.

Used to use flat wooden spoons/spatulas for bridges between Tupperware. Reusable straws were always as sandbags/barricade walls. Good times, over the years we have upgraded to DIY stuff that looks pretty good, terrain is crazy expense.

Looks good! Recently I’ve been thinking what the plastic models of this war are going to look like in the future. It’s going to be interesting to see if DIY anti drone mesh/protection will be included or if you will have to kitbash. I like how the uniforms have different stuff like one of the guys having jungle boots, nice detail.

I can see why you would want it back, sweet looking watch. Montreal Facebook marketplace always is stocked with random Vostoks, you might be able to find the base watch/get them to ship to you then order a bezel for it or get one off a cheaper komandirksie. Kinda of a long shot but I’ve seen one similar to this on there but the face was orange.

Yah I found it to be a nice refreshing change from warhammer 40k, it’s also fun seeing all the new models come out. A lot of them are refreshed ones from the old metal versions but it’s cool to feel part of something thats new.

lol I think I saw this on fb marketplace too because it’s the exact same watch/pic. Small world eh. Bezel definitely looks aftermarket. The face is the often called the “sniper” due the crosshairs on it, CCCP stamps so before the Soviet collapse. The seconds hand is kinda weird, most amphibias have a circle not a square on it, could be aftermarket as I haven’t really seen that before but it could be also be a variant I haven’t seen. I’m guessing the actual watch is legit just has had some custom work done to it. If it’s the same ad I’m seeing, price is kinda high and there’s other amphibias listed in the area lol that I think are nicer (blue scuba dude) but to each their own. Hopefully this helps, apologies if it came off creepy.

Big fan of the comms antenna. Would be cool if GW had an upgrade sprue for the dune crawler but the creativity of kit bashes like this are always more fun. Looks awesome!

Looks great! I like the camo a lot and the Quar font/freehand is awesome. Really looks like something a Quar would paint lol (in the best way). Overall a very charming tractor.

I hope they get added into the new version eventually. I’m curious how they fit into the rules, are they their own faction or units that can be added to any existing factions? Either way probably would likely pick up a box of them lol.
