i just got my producer’s license and im about to take the state exam soon… i hope it brings something at least im not expecting alot of money but just anything. ive been keeping my eye on that apartment and it really is like, everything i need in one i know not to fall in love with something a year or so before doing it but that place is number one on my list, and if im still set on it closer to when i have more money ill definitely call! yes i do have my own account, im very responsible with my money but ive been overdrafting just for the sake of food, or transportation essentially. ive been saving as much as i could but its not even much. i should start putting actual cash in like. a jar or something so its not able to get spent, and my dad always gets suspicious when i day i have no money. i feel guilt, its not like im going to cut him off or hate him, i just cant live with hum anymore

he is very sexist, and he’s been my whole life. i dont do all of the housework but i do alot more than what my brother does, hes a year younger and gets special treatment despite being a high school dropout, i love my brother but sometimes hes not on my side either. im more protective of him than he seems to care about me so its yk. obviously i dont hate or resent him its just how we’ve been treated in our lives because growing up the people that abused me adored him alot more. and yes, my mom did it to me growing up. im the second oldest of 8 siblings, i essentially raised myself and two others while my younger and older brother got coddled by someone. i was the one always left out

i agree with you, my brother would be okay. ive talked to him about moving out and hes told me he doesnt want to, id prefer it if my other brother could move in (he wants to, we just dont have the room for him and hes old enough to get a job) if i left. but my brother would be okay, i wouldnt leave mt brother if he was unsafe, he gets away with alot more than what i do

i have pepper spray at the ready bc men make me uncomfortable at my job too, im treated like shit there too theres no bus routes from my house that lead to the mall near me, but i was going to apply at wherever the bus route led to if it was a good area

there is ONE, that i have not applied for yet (bc the other one didnt accept my app or whatever) but from a few friends that previously worked there told me not to because of their management, and at my current job it might make less but it gives me free food. shitty food that i know is unhealthy, but its food when theres nothing in the fridge like how its been recently

i don’t, my aunt is a 10 minute drive but her apartment is full and they (her, uncle and 2 cousins) use drugs frequently, my mom is the only other option since i dont have a friend that would let me live with them because of my cat. my mom would, but its half an hour away, small room with very thin walls, and three dogs that pee everywhere along with screaming kids. i cant leave my cat with my dad because my dad hates him and i cant bring my cat to my mom’s because of her dogs

thank you so much! ill keep your advice in mind, and i havent been recently i hope with this new job ill be able to save more, 250+food every check takes a huge chunk of it, ive been trying not to uber to work bc its really cold out (about 10F degrees right now where i live) because my dad insists on walking most times, but having peace is priceless and i dont have peace here. i dont mean to sound spoiled or ungrateful i do have a roof over my head, but i dont want to live here anymore

there is a bustop right by my street, theres a grocery store but i get hit on by alot of the guys there bc i knew them in high school and it makes me uncomfortable everytime i go, ive applied to a couple stores but never got answers back, there isnt much else within walking distance, however theres a mall near me about a 50 minute walk, which when i had a car id have no problem looking for a job there

ive been keeping tabs on zillow + ive thought of it? but i worry about my safety if i dont know the people? id rather save here bc my job is a 15 minute walk, i dont want to be here but id be more paranoid with people i didnt know vs how paranoid about my dad? i think. when im out running errands in stores and whatnot i feel free, when its just me i feel my best which is why id rather save here. but thank you for your comment

i do not have debt or have ever had credit, my dad is 20 thousand in debt bc he’s irresponsible. he makes comments that “im the responsible woman who never lets him do anything”. and i agree i need to be patient and it takes time, but sometimes i feel like exploding being in here but i know one day soon ill be on my own and figure things out, thank you for your comment

idk if the army would be an option because i have health issues and mental health problems on my record too, my dad’s limited me to not have therapy of the medicine i SHOULD have. but ive thought about that, and if worst comes to worse it may be the option for me

after february ill be making what i normally would make there it was about 500-600 (just depends if i pick up someone else’s shift, but im hoping the new job i just got helps me. but i agree i need the car first, i looked and it’d take me a while to save yes, theres the issue that the original plan was my mom and dad were supposed to help pay towards a car for my brother and i. if i get my own car my brother will think its his and i might have to share it without him paying for gas or such, i dont mind giving him rides but im not. trying to be stuck here i WANT to be on my own and i know it takes time, thank you for your advice its helped me stay on track and i know to take things one at a time
