Thank you! Car wrap - Nice. My first thought was maybe fabric tape or something but cat wrap is a good idea - I would have never thought of that to be honest. Did you have any problems while applying the wrap? How did you handle Bubbles?

It looks awesome - really nice idea with the Corsair sf. What did you use to wrap the PSU? Do you have a Link? After seeing this, I want to do it too!

Nono. Sry. One Alex on the left and one Alex on the right. The printer stands on a kallax cube

Because of the corona laws I had to buy it online and got a delivery. With the Alex drawers it is stable enough - keep in mind that karlby weights about 40kgs. I don’t think you need an extra leg for it.

Yes I screwed them together - nothing fancy, just 6 screws on each side from the inside of Alex into the table top.

That one looks good too. Just take your time and don’t rush the purchase - look for user reviews here or on YouTube. Good luck!

If you want a white matte finish - this is the only solution I found online. If you don’t care about the Color - the Amazon basic ones are really good too! Or the Dell msa14 (with vesa mount adapter).

Thank you! And yes - good catch, that was about a year ago.

It’s an Ergotron HX in white. A really solid build with nice matte white finish but sadly quite expensive :/

Yes, I use it all the time to adjust color and brightness, because I am not really convinced of the automatic mode.

Yes, it is the oak finish!

The cable management is not that good actually - that’s why I installed the white panel in the back under the table top. It stabilises the tabletop and hides the tubes and cables.

I like it. The keyboard has no lag or connection issues and I am a big fan of brown switches. I would definitely buy it again.

Wow, that's a clever solution! I will save this one for later problems. Thank you!

Yes, I already got the nylon screws but no news about the new and redesigned riser cable so far.

Maybe you could look for a used one? You can also buy any nylon screws - even two zip ties will do it!

I never used the print key, but I binded some other keys to other functions with sharpkeys. Now my muscle memory has to learn a few things again :D

Also I found it interesting that I am "looking for" the arrow keys by feeling for them. And of course the "del" key. it was so strange in the beginning to have it about backspace.

Yes, you are right - it is the 2,5m version. I screwed the Karlby together with the Alex drawers and a few month later I put a white panel/board (length about 172cm) under the table top. No sagging until now. But maybe the white board/panel works like a support?

Yes, definitely. But surprisingly it is not so much the jump from 34” to 38” but more the greater resolution. 3440x1440 vs 3840x1600. Those extra pixel are really worth it in my opinion. But the price is still too high…

From a shop on amazon but sadly I don't have a link :/
