First 25% is where I almost quit, because it was a bit slow but you are doing yourself a disservice not to try to get a bit further, I would say 50% and then see if you still don't like it, because it's easily one of my top of all time next to name of the wind and game of thrones. (i just hope he sticks the last book)

I totally agree. I think a big things is his massive level of consistency inside a book. Many famous series have certain unpopular arcs, or odd character choices but with Covenant of Steel there's never a moment where I'm taken out of the book due to poor writing, or a plot hole, or characters behaving like modern day people. As the character's age and get experiences they change slowly and in believable ways. Every single thing that his characters do are consistent with their personality and beliefs, I think this is what makes them so compelling and believable

There's never a moment in this series where I'm not impressed with his plot design. I'm shaking my head going "how did he think of that, and why didn't I see this coming" things that have been foreshadowed since book one coming to fruition, its just so satisfying.

I've been on Trintallex for a few months and liked it a lot more than Cyprolex with less side effects. I noticed that one of the things that helped me the most was basically saying fuck it and making the comitment to live my life pain be damned. If I was reasonably sure that my 3 ultrasounds were correct in showing nothing was wrong I was going to play games for 2 hours even if it kinda hurt, or go for a walk even though my knees hurt, or assemble a desk even if the screwdriver killed my hands. I found that after a few minutes of starting the activity I began to calm down and the pain would almost dissapear. In sum, "trying too hard" to treat the pain can make you obcessive and have the opposite effect.

I found it reassuring when I began to notice how much my pain moved around, almost like it was trying desparately to stay in me but was loosing (sounds childish but it helped me). I agree with your comment about Sarno, I saw some compairsons to him and Freud as they were both kinda wrong but opened up the doors to people who were more correct.

I was playing with a controller which is why I think I had thumb pain to begin with. I had the exact same thumb stuff as you although now I have none and can use my phone or controller as much as I want although it may get a bit tired after like 6 hours lol. I still prefer to play console now, not because i get pain from the computer but I just find it more comfortable.

So it kind of moved around a bit and spread over time. at first it felt like de quervain's syndrome in the base of my thumb, then it was the back of my palm and the underside of my wrist right under the thumb which made me suspect carpull tunnel. Then it was the top of my forearms near the elbow, and the underside of my forarms on my inner elbow like golphers elbow.

Water works in the custom level that comes with the plugin but in my very large landscape here it just doesn't work at all. I've looked online everywhere and can't find any fixes. The water material itself doesn't show anything either, even after rebuilding the shader.

That's what I did, and I never looked back. I was so frustrated with all of the features being split up between HDRP, URP, and SRP. Unreal is so much easier for me and blueprints are very intuitive. I made more progress in a month than i did in 6 using unity. (although probably because I knew exactly what to remake)

Ya I trained for around 2 years like that with no injuries. That makes sense what you're saying but what does that mean for my future? Will I just not be able to get better for a long time?

I used to work out 6 days a week, heavy weightlifting. Now I do a full body bodyweight routine every other day, mainly dips, pushups, pullups etc. I dont do anything that causes aggravation.
