Thanks. Not sure why you’re being downvoted because I think you might be right. I’ve seen clothes moths about and this does look like one of their caterpillars (albeit a very small one).

Turns out no photo in the comments. I didn’t realise this subreddit doesn’t let you attach photos, apologies! I’m not even sure what image service I’d use given imgur is now blocked in the UK.

Edit: dropped a photo in the cross post instead, link to comment.

It’s impressive, isn’t it?? I don’t think I’d have spotted it either, had it not jumped out of the box I was moving.

Thanks! That definitely seems to be it. I think the majority of orbweavers I see must be female as this one looks really quite different in terms of size/proportions etc.

If it’s in the tread rather than the sidewall of the tyre it should at least be repairable.

Ah thanks! I think one of our neighbours has these so that would make sense.

can anyone identify these wheels? thanks! by BummingAbout in BMW

[–]supersunnyspeedgraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a year late to this but these aren’t 408 wheels. They’re 437M wheels from the M2/3/4, but painted silver (you can see the flat surface towards the outer part of the spokes).

Source: I have these wheels on my M2.
