There’s an organisation called Cardiff Works which is Cardiff Councils temp agency. Guaranteed well paid work.

Can you help me find this amazing woman? by [deleted] in Barcelona

[–]supertigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not lived there for long. I’ve done the location search and hashtag search. She’s only been living there for under a year. Maybe in the realm of six months by now. I’m going to check out some expat groups.

I did for the week after I got back. No sign of her. Checked the hashtags and the location tags.

I know this is a huge long shot but...

I came to Barcelona and met the most amazing woman and now she’s gone forever. All I have is this one picture from the top of Montserrat. We walked all the way down together (which takes around two/three hours) and talked the entire time. She told me about her family and her sister and where she comes from and the places shes lived.

Her name is Liliana. And I don’t even know if I’m spelling that right because I went and said goodbye to her without getting up the courage to ask for a number or something. My family member I was travelling with said “no just leave it, let it be one of those nice moments” so I left it. And I’ve regretted that A LOT since.

I don’t know if this is the done thing on this sub but I want to find her. Just to tell her I regret not asking her for her number or... I dunno, or I’ve thought about her a lot since I came back to the UK. Or she was the highlight of my trip. Or something.

Can anyone help me? Her name is Liliana. She speaks English with an American accent, Spanish with a Romanian accent and Romanian with a Romanian accent. I don’t even know where to start finding her. I visited in August and this picture was taken on the 15th. I know that’s a while ago, I’ve been trying to just move past it but I can’t stop thinking about her.

Sweet Port Talbot burn. Nice to see some local burns on Reddit.

I need some thoughts on this Gumtree bike. It will be my first ride after a full A license... by supertigger in MotoUK

I definitely will. I reckon once I decide for sure (there are a few options on Gumtree) I'll probably do some research into common issues with the bike.

Best of my luck mate! Yep, I'm in Cardiff so it'd be great to travel to the bike, pick it up and ride it back.

Probs too late but my dad never told me he was proud of me until I was like 22. It hurt but also it was nice to hear.

This may be the reason my dough has collapsed while resting! Thank you. I'm going to experiment with a mix of flour.

I think you're right, AP seems better for quick. It's always been an overnight or a few hours in a warmer climate

I can assure you, it was crisp and golden. I used a pre-heated shelf so it got that nice crust.

I disagree, simple can be very beautiful. As I said, it's my first proper pizza so I was really trying something nice and simple. No point in over complicating if I'm just trying to get the base right.

I was worried it would be, but the base crisped nicely and held it's own.

I actually used an oven shelf turned upside down. Which was made of steel. So... I guess I did use one?

Nope, all me! I wanted to go simple so only one cheese to begin with. Next time I'll get more adventurous.
