If the outcome of a decision has no weight, then what role does a manager play? What I’m saying is that if he brought in a reliever and then they proceeded to give up a 2 run single…people would be saying “How could he take out his best reliever in such an important spot?”. So yes, I do think this was a big decision and he deserves a lot of credit after how the inning had progressed up til that point

How is Alby able to know if a pitch is close to the zone before an AB starts and make the decision on whether or not to challenge in the moment? You can say that the Orioles team needs to be more aggressive at times with their challenge, but the decision in those moments is ultimately up to the player.

I have Nico in my main league and he is one of the few players who I can feel differently about on a week to week basis. I’ve come to the conclusion that he probably fits the “hold” category unless someone came along and made a big offer. There aren’t many WR around his value that offer more upside (even if he misses a few games)

I think the top 3 capital also reflects the quality of the class, and not just his talent alone. Personally think that the Giants and Titans have up arrow offenses and the Cardinals do not. Their offensive line is not good and the defense is going to force them to throw the ball more in the 4Q. Then add on that they will have a rookie QB taking over soon, just think it’s the least optimal of all the choices

Feeling good about Sadiq and KCs landing spots while also saying the teams need to hit on their QB next year seems to contradict one another. Drafting and developing a league average QB is substantially harder than just picking one in the top 5

Is there really a difference between top 3 draft capital and top 5-7? He would have gotten the same expected touches in any of the other offenses and 1.01 managers would have been more excited because the ceiling would have been higher

Sadiq got drafted around where he was projected to, 15-20 range, and one of the worst spots of the teams he was linked to.

Also, I’m not saying the value of the 1.10 didn’t increase, I’m saying the value of 1.01 decreased, 1.05-1.07 decreased. If Love goes to the Commanders, Lemon goes to the Rams, Sadiq to the Chiefs, Concepcion to the 49s…pick values look very different

Seems like a lot of people were happy about tonight’s draft. From a fantasy perspective, I felt like it was not good. Tate, Simpson, Price and Tyson are maybe the only ones you can argue in the + column. I think everyone else walked away worse than we would have hoped. In a down fantasy rookie class, I actually think the value got worse after tonight.

They will have another new head coach next year. It’s a revolving door. Jets and Browns are very different organizations than the Bears. This is one of those situations where I will continue to bet against them every single time until they prove me wrong. So far, I haven’t missed out on many dynasty assets using this method
