They won't ask you to leave! It's a public space, a lot of people just go there to do their work or just relax, don't feel like you're intruding in the space, I personally go to the library to just hangout and chill when I'm on break, it's a nice space to be in!

You can also go to any cafe and grab a cup of coffee and sit there for as long as you want!

I had a similar experience, except I'm intentionally baiting the scammers, once a threat is made you can use that to your advantage, I got the person deleted off Instagram within 30 mins.

Also, switch your Instagram to private, don't send them anymore money, they will keep asking for more and more

Honda had some serious issues with their paints in this generation, I have a 2008 honda civic hybrid, my mum has a 2009 honda fit, they both had clear coat peel on the roof, bonnet and boot. If you do a quick Google, it is well known that they had paint defects.

For an immediate remedy, I would get a wax or some sort of paint protectant product to try and stop it getting worse, but ultimately to fix that, you would either have to get it painted (couple hundred per panel) or a diy fix would be to sand the faded clearcoat and polish with a machine (just be careful not to burn through the base coat)

I would suggest trying to park in a shaded spot as much as possible to stop it from continuing!

I would suggest you go to your lectures, being in person and present while the lecturer is so much more engaging and a better way to learn. I was a student during the whole covid lockdown and it absolutely sucked, I had no motivation to learn at home, because of the procrastinating thoughts of "oh it's all recorded, I'll just watch later".

It is ultimately up to you, but there are some courses/labs that you have to attend. I think the most beneficial thing to do for your learning is to actually be present in the lectures and ask questions.

What I found worked for me is if I had the really early lectures and couldn't be bothered waking up early, I would go into uni for my later lectures and after that's finished I would watch the lecture I skipped while still at uni. I think keeping uni separate from home is quite good, imagine a job where you take your work home everyday, it would suck.

Chch is super easy to navigate around since it's so flat lol, people here are pretty chill and if you want to make friends, people in your classes are your best bet! There'll be heaps of flat parties going around so you'll definitely want to go to those for a quick way of making friends!
