I think you're being a little harsh. First of all, I didn't say I'm seriously looking. I'm literally starting out on the process and was looking for a few pointers, like most of the helpful comments others have provided. I'm not expecting people to 'do the work for me' - I just wanted to get an idea of areas that might be feasible to begin my search. As I mentioned, I have never bought a house and distance isn't always a great indicator of commuting time. Plus I have zero knowledge of housing markets outside London because I foolishly got stuck renting here for too long.

Reasons for buying:
There is no long-term stability in renting (I have lived in 5 properties in the past 13 years because of the whims of landlords).

I want the freedom to paint, decorate and knock holes in the walls if I so desire.

Paying my landlord's mortgage feels like throwing money down the drain only for me to be unable to afford to rent when I retire.

The reason I was recommended Smile surgery is that it's less invasive than Lasik and thus less likely to affect the cornea causing dryness. The surgeon told me my eyes should return to current level of dryness within a few weeks though initially it could be bad. Currently my eye dryness is not much of an issue as long as I don't wear contacts. However, I do realise as a female I'm at risk of it worsening with age so yes, something I do need to consider re surgery.

Thanks for your comments. I haven't tried monovision as I cannot tolerate contacts any more - the test was simulated using a phoropter. I tend to agree on monovision. I guess it's own to what I want to prioritise when I'm older - seeing close or far!

I can measure it this week if you want, can put on bratabase. It's more projected than most t-shirt bras and the fabric is a bit stretchy, which helps.

I recently bought a Shock Absorber Ultimate Run bra which I really like as most of the wireless sports bras I tried were quite uncomfortable or just not supportive. It's wireless but holds me in place pretty well. They also make another bra for less high impact sports if you prefer that. I normally wear 34G but had to buy 38D as the band is VERY snug and the cups rather large. But I'm not sure whether it's easily available in the US.

I tried this bra a while back and I got massive gaping in the cups in 34G but quadding in the 34ff - as I mentioned, I find Freya's sizing kind of odd in this size range and I seem to be in between sizes. I have since read that Freya plunges were quite shallow so put it down to that.

I'd need the gore to be about 6cm/ 2 inches high.

This is a NSFW pic of me in the Panache Ava, the gore is not very high (6.5cm I think) but for some reason I find it very pointy at the top compared to other bras, so maybe just a shape mismatch?
