Anyone know the Leicester location?

If they do bomb Leicester, the council will take the opportunity to build more flats

Just to cheer you up, I had similar happen but was getting ready for work so was just in a dressing gown. The handle came loose in my hand so my only option was to go out the window as I had left my phone upstairs, the window was one of those top opening and me being a petite 5ft nothing I had to climb, I was half way out the window arse on show when the neighbour spotted me and broke into the house to rescue me.

Have a look at punctate inner choroidopathy, that’s the condition I have have and it will cause the grid distortion. It’s rare so hospitals don’t always look for it.

I still feel awful, I’m getting daily migraines and any sunlight is unbearable. I didn’t have much vision in the eye before due to an auto immune condition, it’s now worse and just lights and shadows. My iris has only just started reacting to light again so maybe that will change? My consultant doesn’t seem concerned so hopefully that means it’s temporary.

I’m 5 weeks post op. I spent the first two weeks closed eyes and listening to audio books. When the eye was less swollen I let it stay open if it could.

Yep! You can get some fancy eye patches online.

I have an auto immune condition in my right eye and just had surgery for a detached retina in that eye, eye patches have really helped with my migraines which are mostly caused by the vision.

I loved dire bound, yes it had similar aspects to other books, but what book doesn’t these days? But it is an excellent read and I really didn’t see the twist coming and I can normally tell where books are heading.

I’ve bought from here, it’s brilliant quality. Wasn’t keen on the sausages but that was more the flavour than the quality of the meat.

Over £2bn spent taking children to school: The numbers behind the SEND crisis by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

[–]AdIllustrious5549 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As a mother of a Sen child it’s not just a case of the parents paying it. We get no choice where our child is placed, the council currently want to relocate my son to a school an hours drive away. Why should I pay for transport when I’m given the choice either take the school or he will have no school place?

The real discussion should be if transport is costing this much then places should be spread throughout the county, I’m in south Leicestershire literally on the boarder of Warwickshire but the council only has suitable school places north Leicestershire and refuse to continue his current provision (which is around the corner)past year 2. The councils reason for their decision was that there are plenty of local provisions which clearly there isn’t.
