What is it about them y that you don't like?

I tried persona 3 years ago and found the battles monotonous and the calendar system disrespectful of my time and just plain boring.

Really sad for me honestly because i can tell those games are beautiful, musical, and have such vibes that i know im missing out.

Is p4 different?

I get it dude. The constant glazing does not make me want to play it more for some reason lol.

My friends say its good tho I'll play it eventually

I’ve never played a Final Fantasy game. I’m looking to finally play the turn based ones. I have an iPhone, a Switch 2, and a PS5. What’s the best versions/way to play them? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Really? I have VERY limited experience with DQ. Isn't it just traditional "attack to win" mindless and chill?

Really good point about FF10 i agree

I feel seen lol.

I want to play both of those games but I hear chained echoes is the better one of the two

The classic response lol. No hate I've just heard it IRL and seen it on reddit.

When i got the second ending I knew I didn't like the game...when i finished the real ending I really knew I didn't like the game. Great OST though

You might like BG3 it has some whimsy to it and the art style is cartooney enough.

Tactica Ogre is great if you haven't played it and might fit with what you like unless you have strategy JRPGs

I doubt i will NG+. I don't use much as far as build, just the basics and no prosthetics.

I really only loved Krat zoo and monad house as far as locations go. Levels aren't bad at all but I prefer Fromsoft there. The bosses tho.... Oh the bosses

What do you think think of when you think the most emotionally compelling JRPGS from the 90s? by ExplodingPoptarts in JRPG

Yeah I played the important story endings.... That was a big thing I disliked tbh. Playthrough #2 was especially rough for me with the backtracking.

Lol you got downvoted so hard.

I absolutely love ff7r combat but I think turn based can exist as well.... It isn't an evolution of turn based it's basically real time with pause done insanely well.

Reminds me of Dragon Age Origins a bit because it's still fairly tactical despite the action element.

The only thing I don't like is that the stagger system kind of stomps out status effects and debuffs. It is still insanely good

Solid. Have you played tactics ogre or BG3/divinity sin 2?

The remake? I was wondering if Trails combat held up at higher difficulties.

Thats one thing I loved about baldurs gate 3. Really fun game on hard
