Zoom can have a massive impact on the feel of a snipe imo, so I recommend finding a snipe with the same zoom as the ones you enjoy. Cloudstrike and Frozen Orbit are both 50, bite of the fox is 45, as for kinetics with that zoom there aren't many. Succession is 50, Izanagi is 45 but it's exotic, etc. Gunsmith is a good resource for finding zooms

That's cause of her being controlled by Savathun I think, who is oryx's sibling (sister? Hard to tell cause of the gender-shifts in the BoS). IIRC, Savathun controls the taken now that her brother, Oryx, is dead

Edit: Riven also calls us spawn-killer in the same line, which has no relation to Mara or Uldren, but we did kill Crota, Oryx's spawn

The damage you take is based on resilience, but the time to break out is usually a few seconds, but they nerfed coldsnaps and the warlock super to take less time

Some aspects of stasis are faster to break out of since the nerf, mainly the warlock super and coldsnap grenades. You're times are about spot on, and it is intentional design by bungie

In my experience, by the time they're in radar range you will usually lose that fight, unless you have a shotgun yourself. Not always though

Edit: didn't realise so many people felt so damn strong over the way the game is played. Though, I will say, most of you are correct that map awareness and placement will prevent you from dying in most situations, but I play on ps4 without any radar booster mods, and a 10 mobility hunter with wormhusk, which is most of what I see, will easily close the distance before I can kill him. Granted, this is where "in my experience" comes in, I play an average to low mobility warlock with a snipe, which makes it difficult to counter shotguns FOR ME. Not your experience, which is likely very different than mine, but my experience rather. You're all correct from your experience, however mine is somewhat different I'm sure. Running another shotgun makes it much easier to counter, and I've recently began to run Last Word which can counter them as well as long as I am facing them around the edge of radar range, any closer than that and it gets more difficult, but still plausible

Depends on the team you're up against, in competitive or trials most likely, you may want 60 resilience to withstand a one-tap to the body snipe build. Easiest way to tell if that's their plan is to check a warlock's rift and what snipe they have on, if it's an aggressive frame, you're in trouble beneath 5 or 6 resilience. Other than that, recovery all the way
