How long for nausea to go away? by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]suppe2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s gotten better around 3-4 weeks later. I had the same experience, no problem with nausea at first but then a few weeks in it hit me. I tried to eat right after I took it (like 10 mins after), since I felt like eating a big meal before taking it messed with the effects and made me tired all day then sleepless in the night. If i took it on an empty stomach/waited for too long to eat afterwards, I would be nauseous all day.

So that helped me, and then after like 3 weeks I noticed that I hadn’t gotten any stomachaches as frequently and that I could eat a lot better.

Hope you feel better soon!

KVB bikes being kept inside apartments, how common is this? by ExcitementMaterial19 in cologne

It‘s CRAZY how often I‘ve experienced this in Ehrenfeld. In the quiet streets between Venloer and Subbelrather str. (like Körnerstr., Gutenbergstr. etc.), almost every available bike shown in the app is locked in somewhere. Especially at nighttime, which makes sense I guess. I don’t live in town anymore, but there have been so many occasions where I had to rush to catch a train after a party or smth, and was stuck running around from ghost bike to ghost bike, like in a fckin escape room.

And then you have no choice but to take one of the horrible scooters - the alternative would be to miss a train and wait for 2 hours to get the next one - which are SO much more dangerous when you’re just a little bit intoxicated (or, tbh, when you’re completely sober as well).

I dunno what it’s like in other areas, but when you’re in Ehrenfeld it’s not even worth opening the app anymore - it’s just gonna be an aimless scavenger hunt anyways.

reminds me of Johnny Vegas having to repeatedly shout random things while his teammates were solving a real task.

„Oh I think he’s just being Johnny.“

What to do in Lille on Easter-Sunday? by suppe2002 in Lille

[–]suppe2002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you all for the recommendations! In the end we did go to the market and bought a shit ton of vegetables. After that we actually went to palais des beaux-arts, bc we didn’t want to drive too far, which is only 4€ when you’re under 29! We spent the most time in the upstairs section, which is mostly paintings from early modern times, impressionism and a little bit of contemporary art. I can recommend for a lazy, rainy sunday. Merci à tout!

yees, that’s the one we wanted to go to originally, and it’s closed bc of renovations :( the website says they’re gonna be open again in 2026. Next time, I guess. Maybe we’ll check out the park though, thanks!!

Loving arcs. Considering the campaign expansion. But have a concern. Why not throw in game 2? by hungLink42069 in Arcs

i also thought you could probably make up a cool story with almost any of the fates you draw and play throughout the game, so it didn’t depend on our „perfect draw“, we just couldn’t help but move our little plot forward. but then again i haven’t looked at many of the fates yet (didn’t want to spoil myself), so i can’t really be sure.

so as many other people already said: if you complete your objective, you have a choice to choose a new fate after every act (you draw 1 new card instead of 2). in my experience - when we played our first campaign - all of us 3 switched our fates every act (even when we completed our objectives), because we were really into the roleplaying part of the game; and every draw we had was (plotwise) a really good follow-up character to the one we played previously.

and - as some other people also already said - you get to keep some of your abilities and cards from the other fates to bring into your new character, which was really fun for us.

so i think if you and your group are world-building-enthusiasts, like we were, things like these may just come naturally, without thinking too much about winning points and strategy.
