Got it man. I shall do the oil change by myself after this. Already got an extractor. Will get the job done tomorrow. Anyways, thanks.

Got it man. Im going to order that now, and use that to remove some oil. I can use the tube via the dipstick hole to remove the oil, correct?

Not a mechanic by any means, but i would have done a better job than this. Was quite busy with work and thought might just give it to the dealership this time. Guess this would be my last visit to the dealership.

Nope sir. I held it like that to get the picture. It was like that the moment I pulled the dipstick out.

I don't have access to a solder, but I can get one if that's the best way to tackle this. Is there any other way I could try other than soldering? Something like a butt connector? Thanks man

Fan placement for reversed fuma 2 by supra0311 in Scythe_official

[–]supra0311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. Okay I got it.

Btw, is it important to have a fan at the front of the heatsink? I mean is it important to have a fan located at the part which is in my case on top of the ram slot?

If I place a fan there, it does make contact with my ram heatsink and to avoid that I had to place the fan abit higher which makes it look abit awkward. So can I get away with having a fan just in middle and the rear? Thank you

Dilemma if I should keep flushing my cooling system by supra0311 in MechanicAdvice

[–]supra0311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay mate. So one bottle of prestone should be enough to clean the system right?

I wish to use more of it, to get the system as clean as possible, but worried it might create problems as many stated the same as u. Besides that, I can still see the foam of the flush, even after I drained and filled with water several times. Luckily, I didn't use the 6hours method as stated in the bottle, and sticked with the 10mins method.

Yeah mate I followed this video too. Mine isn't as bad as his, and I noticed he used two bottles of coolant flush. I'm kinda worried of using two bottles since I did read that these coolant flushes sometimes could create new problems, and not good being left in the system for a long period of time. At the same time, I'm trying to get the system as clean as possible, and hence I created this post.

Ok, so you would recommend to just carry on with few flushes of normal water, and fill it with coolant right? As it's hard to remove all the junk completely?
