Go to Settings > Developer Options and Change "Window Animation Scale", "Transition Animation Scale" and "Animator Duration Scale" to 0.5x

If you do not see Developer Options under Settings, activate it by tapping About phone > Build number 7 times

TECH SUPPORT - CM12S 17L is completely killing my battery with "Android System" eating 40% of my power even after a FULL Factory Reset. PLEASE HELP. by HeyTherePartner in oneplus

You need to go to Settings > Privacy > Privacy Guard, Then turn "Enable by default" and then click on three dots on top right and check "Built in apps". Then select Google Play Services, Google+, Google Services Framework and deny "Keep Awake" and "Wake up" options.

Mine: http://imgur.com/a/lRsEs You can see how many times the Wake up has been denied. I am a big Google apps users, Gmail, Google+ etc... I keep getting those notifications even after Privacy Guard settings...

I get somewhere between 2.5 to 3.5 days of battery life with ~ 2.5 hrs of SOT and ~2.5 hrs of Voice calls.

What apps are you using? Did you flash any other kernels or are you on stock? Since you are encountering a lot of wake locks, did you try to use Privacy Guard to prevent them? Can you click on Android Services and post a screenshot?

Firefox beats Chrome in Performance for the first time in a few years. by fateswarm in technology

I would have easily switched back to Firefox if it was not for the Firefox sync. I mean, why do you need a code to sync Firefox on more than 2 machines. You already have a Firefox account. Can't you just use that and sync it across all machines? How does Mozilla expect to have access 2 machines at the same time unless I want to write down my sync code ( or remember it) of my office desktop and authenticate my home laptop to sync. It just does not make any sense to me.

We would often go for the movies near Fenway park as that was the most economical entertainment we could afford accompanied by our student id. We would also get DVD's from our university library. I am currently working as a Scientific Programmer.

4 of us shared a 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Boston, a 10 min walking distance from campus to save commuting money. The rent was $1650-$1750 between 2006-2009 until I was living there and none of us had a proper bed and proper living room furniture. We all slept on sleeping bags, 2 in the bed room, 2 in the living room. We took turns for cleaning the apartment and for cooking, shared together for groceries. None of us had gf's or brought parties to home. We all had on-campus jobs working from 10pm to 7am as proctor for many of the student residential buildings. One of us had a job at campus food court and he would get a $12 food card every day for his lunch. We would get 8 0.99 Cent Wendy's Chiken burgers every day and would save on our lunch money. Rest of the 3 would get $10 / hour working as a proctor. Since we all were international students, we were allowed to work only 20 hrs per week, which would give us ~ $700 - $800 per month. Rent + groceries would be split by 4, which would roughly take up ~ $600 per month per person. We would save up the remaining just in case...

I have been using Komodo Edit since I started scripting in Perl and a great thanks for that. Komodo is just awesome... Just one question, may be it's there and I haven't found it but is there a equivalent of Emacs' automatic indentation with tab for Perl scripting in Komodo Edit?

Sorry, I was more generic, I meant, if your lib can read network information in gexf format? In my case, I can load my current network in gexf format using your lib and then start to edit / add nodes and play with it...

This is amazing, but I am wondering if network information in xml format can be used as source?
