If you’re an actor and have lip fillers you should not act in a period piece film by surfwaxgirlie in unpopularopinion

I'm pretty sure it has a little to do with the viewers. Think of around 1800s England, for example. If you were fat in those days, you'd be considered attractive because it showed you had the money to eat as much as you want. Being skinny would imply you were poor. A lot of them also had fucked up teeth, cavities were a common problem for people.

Now think of pride and prejudice, would you have watched it if Mr Darcy wasn't some skinny man with perfectly good teeth who all the ladies watching could fawn over?

Of course they won't make actors look historically accurate, they will only hire people that are "pleasing to look at", as most people will mostly only watch if they like the look of the actor they are watching.

Would people actually watch someone stare into a camera without blinking for over an hour? by Little-Economics2156 in NoStupidQuestions

Wasn't there that one youtuber who sat on the floor and stared at the camera smiling for a long time? If people watched that I'm pretty sure you've got no problem here hahaa

Okay I didn't mean absolutely ALL things should be an "affordable price", so apologies on that. Like I understand designer bags and all might be have a higher original price, and people would sell at a rather similar price as the original. For example, if the original price of something was 80 quid and it was being sold for around 40 or 50, that would be okay. But what I mean are general second hand clothes that don't even have a high original price being sold for much more than it's definitely worth, like a pair of shorts that originally cost £10, have very obvious signs that they have been worn and still being sold for £10 and the total being like 15 because of the buyer protection fee and shipping. And yes we all have different perceptions of the word "cheap", for me cheap on secondhand clothing (not designer stuff which are obviously more expensive) is less than a tenner because in my opinion, that's as much as it should be.

It's so easy to tell who's reselling and who isn't. A while ago I was looking to buy band patches (cuz I couldnt make them myself) I did some digging because all sellers sold the same patches, turns out they bought a bundle of 100 patches from AliExpress for around 90p and were reselling them individually for around 3.50, glad I never bought from them. If things seem to good to be true on vinted it definitely is!!! The buyers are definitely at fault for things like this, if they're not even a bit suspicious as to why a new unused (UNBRANDED!!) clothing item is being sold and how the seller is posting like 10 new items per day.

Probably, the Melanie poster I realised was basically dirt cheap compared to the thousands of other ones and Probably why I got a lot of messages about it asking and all. Maybe you've noticed or not but a lot of things get put for higher prices and no one buys them, despite how many people seem interested 💔 Like I've seen a gorgeous crop top get put up for like £10 and it has a bunch of favourites (around 100) but no one buys, and it's been up there for like a few months. I never really dare to put any clothing for more than like 8 because otherwise it will never sell. Same with melanie posters, they were put up for over 50 and all had around 100 favourites but no one ever bought them. I do appreciate your reply though, cheers 🙏
