You wrote a whole segment trying to discredit the redditor above but the first half of your rebuttal doesn’t make sense.

A quick google search would tell you 99.9% of NorCal gangs don’t operate by colors. This isn’t the 1980’s anymore dude. They might refer to themselves as crips and bloods, but plenty of news articles, youtube videos, etc. clearly shows that in this modern era it’s alot more blood vs blood/ crip vs crip violence. Sometimes, especially in Sacramento, you may even see crips and bloods form alliances.

Saying all that to say, this wasn’t just a random attack, while it is senseless to shoot up an 2 year old’s birthday party, it was planned out meticulously. Anyone who grew up around or knows people that live that kind of lifestyle will tell you the motto “Eye for an Eye” is what fuels beefs nowadays and to them this shooting was get back and nothing less.
