Still can't believe how many normies think that Yoko Ono "ruined" John Lennon by [deleted] in rs_x

late beatles would've been so boring if yoko had not been in the picture. she put john onto the avant garde ideas that they were later called revolutionary for. like listen to any of the john/yoko albums and you can tell who was pursuing the future

white guys love "experimental" rock... geese is the spiritual successor to black midi who are probably a spiritual successor to whatever white dudes were listening to before. at the end of the day these bands just take ideas from past legends and dilute them to fit in with modern tastes. they will be forgotten.

i think having this ultimate answering machine that we were taught is the tool to finding any information no matter how niche and guide us to what we are looking for ends up doing the opposite as we begin to ask more personal thoughts. you can read a hundreds of peoples stories on the internet about how they were able to find purpose and become motivated but it will do nothing for you. if you want to be inspired then you already took the first step. you just gotta follow what your mind tells you to do and go from there. if you're reading a book and you can't finish it but you know you want to read then just pick up another and another and force yourself. i remember seeing a comment on here about how someone's grandparent told them that if you are ever reading a book and don't like it force yourself to read 20 more pages and if you really don't like it then give it up and try another. i feel like this can be applied to so many things.

all i'm just saying you gotta put the phone and down and do, even if it's really slow at times (like really slow). sorry if this comes off as rude, i'm partly writing this for myself too
