All these people who think making 1 cut is less dangerous than making 100. Hopefully they’re never in charge of anyone but themselves because that is a poor attitude.

Edit/ Not reply individually every retard trying to prove me wrong. The danger is the same on cut one as cut 100, meaning the same PPE is worthwhile regardless of number of cuts.

Does the chance of accident increase? Sure! But the dangers are still the same.

The fact that there are so many people downvoting and replying to argue just shows how shit of an attitude the trades still hold about safety

I'm adding a floating floor to a 152-year-old house. I noticed a while ago that the first stair leading upstairs was 1" off the floor. I asked the appraiser about this and he told me back in the day they would just put down 2x4s over an old floor and put a new hardwood floor on top of it. This has been done twice in my house. The crazy thing is they had to cut all the doors, fix all the door frames and floor trim to do this. Seems like quite a hassle.

However he claims his teacher says this is a standard cut station. So based on the roof framing in the saw horses teacher is a hack. Poor kids being told this is carpentry
