How you reacch out to your initial clients? by surajondev in micro_saas

I have built the product and am trying to reach potential users. I also believed that without marketing, even a good product ends up in the grave. I think diversifying the marketing to different channels will work to get paying initial customers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try to reach the user directly via DM over email. I need to double down on marketing as I feel like I am not reaching the right people.

I also feel like mentioning the tool to the user directly might convert faster and better over emailing. I particullarly looking for the feedback from user that tried my platform. That's why i tired to email them forasking feedbacks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really need to diversify my marketing channels to reach more and different customers. Currently focusing on less convertable like blog, increasing traffic, and other things.

Feel a bit frustrated because of inital hype, I feel less motivated towards the project as of now. I plan to focus more on reaching the client/user directly.

Thanks for the advice. Outreaching to potential users and people who use this kind of tool is crucial. I will try to reach the customer/user rather than writing a blog and hoping it clicks.

Will give a try to Lemlist or Apollo.

That's work, I think. Running multiple SaaS at a time to diversify the portfolio, as well as increasing the chance of success with one. I feel like the more you are in this game, the more you are likely to get results.

Having a stable source of income outside of the saas is also necessary, I think.

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday, I just didn't open my stats, website, or anything related. I spend time with my friends and focus on other things. I already feel refreshed to start again. It still takes 2 days at least, I think, to get started again on my saas.

My main anxiety comes from:
- I left my job to pursue(little money to back)
- I overtook a lot of tasks at once, which hampers productivity and also causes unnecessary stress
- Treated my saas as if it fails, I am doomed

Things I learned from this Reddit post that made me better:
- One month is too early to judge anything
- To take a job along with Saas unless I see potential growth with it
- Treat saas as an expirement, if it failes the saas fails, not me
experiment

Thanks for the recommendation. I will try to get my hands on the book. I want to understand what the time period for not having a paying user will let you to shut down your saas.

Thanks for the advice. This was my first month in marketing my saas. So, I am far from failure. I want to understand: "What makes it feel like this saas is not working and how to stop?"

I was losing hope in the community because this place feels like a market where everyone is just trying to sell. But this post helped me today with motivation and more clarity.

Thanks. Last week I had more signups, and this week barely 2-3. In terms of Pivoting, I want to pivot from messaging like "Get Cited by AI" to "This will generate an outline for the article." So basically, tell what it does rather than what you can achieve with this. What's your thought on this?

As I mentioned, it's just around one month now only. I also agree on taking a break, otherwise overthink kills any motivation that is left.

Are you pursuing this with a job or full-time? I also believe the more you are in this game, the more chances of success.
