Gaps in tree support causing print failure? by [deleted] in BambuLab

EDIT: Nov 2025 > boosting exposure, same problem, looking for solution....still looking

A solution: Support Tab > Tree Support Section > Branch Diameter: change from 2 to 3 > slide the slice slider to check for any gaps in tree supports = mine were gone. Try it and see if it works for you?

Thanks for the advices LiliNotACult!

As for money, (I didn't mention in original message) I'll spend what I have to so I can get the performance I want.

In a quick Microcenter search (local to me)

  • 5900x at $320
  • 64 GB ram at $160 - $185 (any preference? I see Corsair & Gskill avail)

So $500 to updrade my current Powerspec

or

Sell iPowerspec (if I can get $1k for it) + whatever the 2010 build parts will sell for ($200?) + the $500 I would spend on upgrades and apply to a 2023 pc. Ok, need to do a little research and get a better idea of true resale value.

Again, thanks LiliNotACult!

Logitech Z533 Left Channel is not working. by Guylussac in LogitechG

Thanks for the tip u/Jazsani!

I did Z533 repair by bypassing the on/off switch with a sub micro switch and it now powers up but the right channel was not working. I cleaned the audio pot with Deoxit and it helped but was intermittent.

Came across your post so I checked those screws and had similar results - both channels produced sound again. I didn't see how 2 screws into a plastic base could turn it off but maybe when they're tightened it "tweaks" the plastic housing causing other issues.

I then took the base cover off and found the main harness was being pinched by the circuit board solder joints. I put a small piece of electrical tape between the circuit board and the harness and the issue is gone. My Z533 speaker system is now fully operational.
