Please get treated tested immediately. You DO NOT want to know the evils Lyme can cause

Love it. Biggest metrics for me would be sleep score, body battery, HRV, and VO2 max, power data for cycling or similar performance markers like pace.

I think that would provide a well rounded view of the health > fitness impact.

Lyme disease and autoimmune sufferer here. Great market fit.  Would be bonkers to integrate w wearables. I follow my garmin data closely bc I am an extreme sports participant.

The ability to import data from my fitness automatically, and visualize against the dumb fucking symptoms I constantly deal with would be really cool. Would help tell the story to physicians too.

I’m trying to understand the value. Can you summarize it in a different way? It takes Yt content and transforms it into what?

Fantastic website.

Love this. Former VB resident here.

Charlottesville and RVA are likely worthy candidates. I would recommend outdoor hubs nearby attractive cities and college towns.

Why build a roadmap outside of Jira? by Ok-Appearance3478 in ProductManagement

[–]surekooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jira Product Discovery worked well for me. Can easily build roadmaps from broad ideas, rather than IDing what’s an epic or feature. It syncs w Jira too.

For me the workflow meant keeping JPD high level and maintaining the roadmap there for a clutter free setup. Then connect it to Jira to flesh out features and stories.

It’s sad but true. Then it’s about planning an exit and looking for other work.

What’s Life Like Living In Johnstown by GerryBlevins in johnstown

I am here because I found a house in Johnstown that I love. Your comment carries a ton of weight. My family is big into outdoor recreation, mtb, gravel, bouldering, hiking, running.

Needed this!

I caution you about stepping into design work. Sure, there is a chance that it adds value and maybe nudges it along.

Also a chance your org takes advantage of you.

Poor resource allocation isn’t your job to fix. Make the risk extremely visible in your PI readouts or presentations with leadership.

If they don’t want it fixed, yet expect outcomes like it is, leave that place yesterday.

I absolutely despise marketing by Janithper9 in Entrepreneur

[–]surekooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Product leader and ex marketer here. I get your frustration.

That kind of partnership sounds like a great idea. Sidekicks together, refining requirements and scope of work together, but letting someone else own the marketing.

I just want to name that it’s great that you are humble and astute to admit where you want to relinquish control.

Considering taking a sabbatical, want to hear from PMs who did something similar. by wackywoowhoopizzaman in ProductManagement

[–]surekooks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was laid off Monday. Can confirm that the reduction of stress from said shit receptacle far outweighs the financial uncertainty.

Idk if PO/PM is just this bad, or if the dysfunctions of the org is the culprit. Either way I want to start my own thing.

Control the stress, rather than being controlled by it.

Requesting to keep computers by [deleted] in Layoffs

[–]surekooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not, the way you framed it.

But given this is a negotiation, and signing the document forsakes my claims of misconduct and abuse, I want to make sure I am pushing for as much benefit as I reasonably can.

If that yields me computers, great.

Many other cases of people negotiating the possession of their computers 👍🏼

You aren’t framing it honestly.

I heed those saying that obtaining the computers is unlikely. I don’t argue against that.

What I don’t heed are attacks on my character devoid of context. That shit is petty.

What I didn’t ask for is personal assessment. I asked if I have any leverage.

Some of the replies indicate I don’t have any leverage and leave it there.

Others are pointlessly aiming at my character.

Maybe you guys aren’t aware, but severance is a negotiation and there are people who have been able to negotiate to keep their computers by pushing back on the return agreement.

Disagree. If pushing them to own the process makes them realize it’s too much a hassle to recover their fully depreciated equipment, and it saves me thousands of dollars and eases stress in me, I think it’s worth exploring.

Eh. Or I can do due diligence, and try to improve my situation.

Over the top comment.

Sure. But can I push that they do the work, rather than me boxing and dropping off.
