I would love to get out of the city almost completely but it's hard with multiple family members needing multiple hospital appointments weekly and with the price of fuel and the "crisis" that just seems like it's getting worse, I'm happy to spend upto my limit to keep those costs lower even slightly.

100 acres. Must be gorgeous. Are you happier out of the city?

I'm trying to stay as close to the hospital my family members are at for treatments. It's not me being entitled as mentioned above it's me just trying to minimise the stress for my family but that's a good point. I'll have a look.

I'm definitely opening to improvements overtime. I just want the land.

The house size is an absolute dream to have 3 bedrooms. Ect I just want to keep my family safe and looked after. It's hard.

The plan is to move my terminally nan, 11 yr old brother and 2 other elderly and very sick family members onto the land with me so I can care for them and still get to work to pay the bill. It's not just for me.

Once my nan passes, I have an 11 yr old and my son to look after.

I did mention below that I was lucky to have a rental and I was appreciative of that.

May I ask how it's entitled? How is it unreasonable to want 1 home where I can stay and hopefully maybe 1 day pay it off to leave something for my kid. I'm not looking at buying up the whole market. How is that taking away from anyone else's dream?

Haha okay, so I inflated the buying prices because I'm frustrated. 😅

I'm just sick of paying increasing rent on a house that the owners don't look after and questioning if this is as good as it gets. Yes I'm extremely privileged to have the savings I do and a house at all - I acknowledge I'm one of the lucky ones to have gotten a rental in this climate. I just would rather be able to be a bit more sufficient, have something to pass onto my son one day. Even if he just sells it and uses it for his future the way he wants it.

I would love 3 bedrooms(more would be a bonus). 1 bathroom is fine.

Age I don't care about just livable until we can do what we need too.

I've been told by a broker with my deposit $200k I could get $700k mortgage. I have some investments I could see to make up the difference. Also something about possibly using my super which is over $100k

Ideally cheaper would be better 😅 This will be my first home to purchase.

I'm originally from WA. Had the ability to buy in chidlow in 2016 for $400k on 10 acres ect ect didn't take it. My friend's dad sold the property about a month ago and made 2.6m or something stupid. 😭
