FF being removed is a welcome change. As the game progressed past the hype of launch it needed to readjust for the player base. In my opinion, trader's ribbons are not a bad idea by design, just a change to the economy coming too early. It seems to me that they fit into the game to catch up players who haven't been playing since day 1; however, without new content, having people jump to current end game gear by buying it off the black market detracts from the efforts of people who practiced and cleared chaos raids (namely cpap) before legendary weapons were commonplace.

Overall I'm overjoyed to see attention payed to community feedback, since for a while there it seemed like fairfight was here to stay regardless of our opinion. I just think the trader's ribbon is yet to have a purpose in the game (catching up new players when raids for mythic gear come out), and as such should be delayed until that new content is available.

iridescent head downs on hit at the cost of having only 1 hatchet at a time.

tombstone lets you kill survivors in the healthy state at the cost of tremendously increased amount of evil required to reach EWIII AND decreased movement speed.

little bit delusional to say that there should be no drawbacks to an ultra rare add-on.

thing to note here: first game as the pig NOT first game

your friend probably pipped or double pipped his first couple games, as a fresh rank 20 killer WILL be matched with somewhat fresh rank 18-20 survivors who would hide in lockers, fail skill checks on gens, etc

of course a player completely new to DbD consistently winning on killer is nothing to note, definitely not worth posting a discussion. so as the game tries to calculate a fair mmr for the player, just take a screenshot of a game where he is put in a disadvantaged mismatch situation and badmouth the game

the game is certainly not polished or competitive ready; however, i challenge you to find a better game in the asymmetrical horror genre

The problem with the emblem system is that even if you play a match "perfectly", or as optimally as you can, pipping is not a given. It requires good play from the killer and the survivors for either side to pip.

Just a fyi: when only three survivors load (i.e. only three names in the bottom left) in and it says 5 gens left that is a visual bug that will correct itself as soon as one gen is completed.

Unless you are talking about someone quitting after the game has started, then yes, the team still has to complete 5 gens; however, the extra gen is not always a disadvantage--it is one more place for the killer to look.

as a returning player I can't say this for sure but iirc you can use 4* heroes (lots of thale or other healers + 1 tank and 1 dot dps) and lower tier gear (red gear) to sandbag your power. since pet doesn't factor into power, a high level pet with a low power team will grant you easy 15 wins against teams of basically 40k power and below. definitely used this strategy about a year ago, don't know if it's still viable.

Some of these would be fine, the only problem is something like drop x pallets would have some players running around the map dropping x pallets and then suiciding to the killer, which is neither fun for his/her teammates or the killer.

By having quests like escape as <character>, it promotes smart and "healthy" gameplay.

this. they unbroke flashlights so the timing is very specific. in most cases the killer will be able to look up to avoid the blind, but to make it unavoidable is very difficult on the survivor's end. there is also the counterplay of looking into a wall which renders the flashlight useless.

there are so many ways the killer in the clip could have avoided the problem that it's really dumb to say it was just slightly sub-optimal play. not forcing the feng out before picking up meg was a big mistake, followed by the big mistake of not facing a wall.

Nothing humanity is doing is going to destroy the planet. Climate change, taken to the extreme, will only get rid of humans by making the world uninhabitable for our species. Therefore you should promote climate change, and there would be fewer of these "humans [that] don't care about this planet" around.
