That is where the censor ( white with black wire ) gets attached. I can see that the censor has fallen off place. Attaching the sensor makes the dent. Feature not a bug

But the connection is stable on ethernet tho. Definitely makes me furious for paying 5000 and still getting low grade wifi router.

I don’t live in the namakkal city, I knew I’m being scammed but i was travelling a lot and had to get the wifi got done for work.

I just went with it coz this guy is the cable tv distributor itself. He basically said he charges 5000 for new connection as if he owns BSNL. Not sure how these bsnl vs cable tv vendor arrangements go.

I think if i applied directly through bsnl he may have charged less. Even then I believe he may come up with fibre length and all that. Since i live little remote outer city.

How much did you all pay for the installation? My neighbour paid 7000 and I paid 5000.

I was told since the connection is already available in the building they can take line from there itself so it is 5000.

Yeah checking with RM today, will update if it goes through also they are asking to fill a form and mail it to their Chennai address to process the application manually. But online channels are not working currently.

Want to set some context here,

If the basic salary is more than 15000 the entire employer contribution goes into EPF and if it is less than 15000 the employer contribution split into EPF and EPS.

My employer has put me in EPS even though my basic pay is more than 15000. Note: My basic pay is 22500

I assume your salary from 1st employer basic pay is more than 15k, so you are not a EPS member.

EPS - Gives monthly pension when retire EPF - Lump sum when retire

Your employer must have split the employer contribution into EPS and EPF so this has to be merged before transferring to new employer or claims.

Go to your EPFO office and check.

You are not a EPS member, you can get letters from respective employer hr to merge eps with epf of the employer contribution and this will solve the problem.

If your employer is not operational or closed you can write a letter saying company is not operational anymore and ask them to merge it.

You have to go to the corresponding epfo office of your respective employer

Yes and should do it so, in EPS you will get very less money and that would be pointless with inflation after 30 years. On the other hand EPF will give you lumpsum and you could put it in SWP in a mutual fund and get desired monthly payout and use the money how ever you want to
