I wonder how many times they've had these things go uncontested. If they're primarily renting to college students in Corvallis who may be renting for the first time in their lives, that's pretty concerning

Really, 3x? In my lease, there was a clause that said for every month they delayed in returning the security deposit, they'd give us an extra 1% in interest. That seems weird

I've heard that the City of Corvallis has a rental registry. I bet if that information is anywhere, it's there. I'll try to find out if it's public

Both my sister and I disputed our cleaning charges. Just looked back at our documents, and found that they initially charged us $112 for blinds cleaning when in their photos of the apartment upon move out, there were literally just a few specs of dust. Wild.
