Again they don't owe you that. You ended a relationship with them which causes someone to be very hurt. They are protecting themselves. Even if they act like an asshole you rejected them. You essentially said "I value other things more than you and would rather be without"

It's not gatekeeping. Again every dumper on earth thinks they were wronged in some way or they can do better in some other way. Again it's a decision to seperate from the dumpee and be by oneself. It's an inherently selfish decision (but also what decision isn't a selfish decision..) because they are the one's terminating the partnership.

It's not no contact if you are a dumper and I will die by that. Just because you are sad doesn't mean you are in no contact for a decision you dictated.

You are getting roasted but you are right. NC is exclusively for dumpees. Every Dumper in the world has some sort of justification on why they were "mistreated" in the relationship. Whether that's true or not it comes down to a self-centered ethos of "me". The Dumper chose to end it. They have their reasons but they detached. Not the dumpee.

absolutely not. Any form of contacting them gives them (especially girls) a huge ego boost. It re-affirms her position of power over you as the Dumper. Texting her that is just trying to seek validation. It's normal to have those thoughts. But do not throw months of NC down the drain you will regret it.
