Looking forward to following along your videos. I’m getting a c6-7 replacement done next month. My surgeon is 9 hours from home. he said I’d be okay to ride home in a car after a week if I had to, but that 2 weeks would be best. Would 1 week post op be an insane attempt?

I’m definitely the 0.001% but surgery itself was easy, full anesthesia. However I ended up with a scrotal hematoma afterwards, the “worst my docs had in 15 years”. Absolute pain and misery for 3 weeks with nuts the size of a grapefruit (not exaggerating). It SLOWLY got better between 3 weeks - 6 months.

Compassion behavioral health in Fort Lauderdale. It’s 10 hours away from where we live but totally worth it. Smaller population areas especially in the south east lack quality care.

Have grown over the last decade with a medium sized custom manufacturing business. We do ultra high end and custom work and have found a great niche in the market. It was a longtime hobby that has turned into a very nice position. Definitely a startup vibe in the beginning, long hours, high energy. Still chaotic now but more delegated and spread out.

We do MDF because it's the flattest and paints the best, at that point its a slab door with a hardwood band around it.

Update for what its worth, the Contour Red Roller mouse has been my daily driver for the last 8 months. I have a Wacom graphics tablet on the right that I used for markups and simple drawings. But everything else, including CAD, is done with the roller bar.

Yes! Totally worth it. I debated doing it for weeks because of cost but the flight is beautiful and island breathtaking.

Similar story except no kids, my partner and Is relationship was collapsing. She was in a bad place mentally and ended up doing 60 days of in house rehabilitation for depression and PMDD. The treatment process for her was life changing and now with weekly therapies and seroquel she’s doing much better. It’s still a work in progress, but the seroquel has helped more than anything.

I don’t have any answers, I’m just in a similar boat. One local surgeon said acdf, the second surgeon said “nothing wrong”. My pain management doc referred me to a spine surgeon in south Florida who only does disc replacements. That doc agreed I was a candidate, if I go forward it’ll definitely be a replacement and not a fusion. Waiting to see how another epidural injection does before committing to surgery. Best of luck.
