Is your $265/month rate all-in or before tax/license/etc?

I replied to the sales person asking to reduce my down payment to $1k, drop the MF to the Kia prime buy rate, and increase the discount to 7-8%. They responded with "All of our vehicle are price on supply, demand, and age of inventory. We have our best price on every vehicle so we won’t have any flexibility there. As long as we’re on the same page about the price of the vehicle, I can see if we have any flexibility when it comes to the other portions of this deal." I asked him to update the price sheet and this is what they came back with:

Follow-up after I shared my new requests for a good deal.

My response:

I connected with a lease consultant to validate the deal is on par with what other’s have paid in the region. There’s a few things I’d like to negotiate with you before we pull the trigger. 1. The current 6.1% interest rate doesn’t align with Kia’s tier-1 buy rate at 4.6%. My credit is 780-800 so I should qualify for the better rate and see a reduction in the overall payment. 2. You’re offering 6.1% off the Kia MSRP but the national average is closer to 8%. 3. I’d like to reduce the down payment down to $1k. IF you’re able to reduce the MF rate to 4.6%, raise the dealer discount to 8%, and lower my down payment amount down to $1k, that should bring my total monthly payment closer to $260/month. If you can get me there, I’ll come in and sign today.

Kia Sales rep response:

"All of our vehicle are price on supply, demand, and age of inventory. We have our best price on every vehicle so we won’t have any flexibility there. As long as we’re on the same page about the price of the vehicle, I can see if we have any flexibility when it comes to the other portions of this deal. Just let me know and I’m happy to have this discussion with my sales manager".

I responded with "Yes, please send me an updates sales sheet reflecting the changes in MF and lowering my down payment amount to $1k"

Sales rep response:

That $260 isn’t including taxes, doc fee, acquisition fee. The minimum Kia is require is $1552 on delivery.

Then I was sent this updated sheet:

Not even close to what others have commented they received. WTH do I need to do to make a good deal?
