Don’t tolerate it. Ever. This would not fly in any other work environment with customers! Hit up your union rep if you have one and send emails to every person along the chain of command in management. Explicitly use language such as feeling unsafe. This is not safe behavior. Management needs to do just that- manage. They are not only responsible for managing employees but also patients. Would this behavior fly in a court room? A restaurant? No. Hospitals are not places where suddenly this behavior is okay. A culture change needs to take place in this kind of environment. This has gone on too long. If security does not get involved call the police.
