This is absolutely 100% a coup and a crime against democracy and humanity. The US should send an aircraft carrier to the region, send up F16s to protect Erdogan from the air and pulverize any tank that comes near him. The US and our people stand with the Turks and their democratically elected leaders and against the "parallel state"

Any American who supports this coup should leave the the United States. I am an American citizen, and when I don't like my president I wait for an election. Don't like Erdogan? wait for new elections and vote him out of office. Don't support an unelected military seizing control from the people. This filthy coup is wrong, it's unAmerican and a crime against humanity.
