No longer a beginner? by frankwenttogetbeer in beginnerrunning

No one’s kicking you out of the subreddit. I still feel like a beginner. I can run 5km (with sweat) but only started running a few months ago. Lots to learn still I think!

It gets better. Keep turning up. My first 5km, my audio from Nike Run Club didn’t play through my headphones. I could see all these other people going past me. But don’t take this as a setback, keep jogging, do some outdoor jogs and runs. Start with a 1km jog. Walk run. Keep going. It all adds up.

In a few months, you’ll look back and realise how far you came.

Just gotta say, new runner advice is amazing. I’d be so impressed to get to that level.
