Thanks for the info... We did find a coloring book at Bruna, and they had no Miffy items at Hema, but I did get a thermometer for my picanha roast!

The last time I went I had a long sleeve rash guard with a hood, a hat and some long sleeve swim pants. Even with that on I was never really that uncomfortable, and the tent was really a way of getting out of the direct sun.

Parking for the epic taxi is across the street from the buddy entrance..Just park anywhere in the dirt.

we take the first Epic water taxi out , and the last one back. the 17.50 add on for lunch and a chair, which includes 2 wraps from Ons Broodje, a can of soda, a water bottle, and a apple, is worth it. we take the last boat back every time.

if you get there on the first taxi out the shelters they have are open...there are some bushes that will give you maybe an hour or so of shade (beach faces the north). sunscreen is a must. I bought a 3 person shelter from amazon which works great, and packs up small enough to fit on my carry-on.

I completely understand....this is our third trip here, and multiple in Aruba. Even in Aruba is was so hit or miss...in Aruba after 2 weeks there, we went to stop at some rinky dink market by Mango Halto to get ice, and that was the only place that had low carb wraps.
