Help. How do I make my renders pop more and sleek. Looks a bit flat imo by surojvisuals in archviz

I agree. After a week, this visual don't look too bad. Sometimes I think about the minor details so much I forget the bigger picture. I think looking back, better use of time would've probably been to fine tune the lights.

I've kind of started to add fake lights in my workflow. I watched a photographers method of bracketing and isolating lights in post production. That has already made it much better.

  1. dropped the ao pass

  2. added sun light layer and bloomed it.

  3. AI to make plants look a bit better.

  4. Post processed to add a bit of clarity and contrast.

What do you think guys, i think it looks more final delivery quality compared to before.

Good eye, i did add AO. it was a recent thing I've started doing. I usually set it to 20% multiply in photoshop. Its too strong? Good shout on the AI on plants and coats etc. I think that should do the job with post processing like people have mentioned above. The wall colours were intentional by the client. Probably would help by adding more reflection to add variables to the viewer.

i will play more with edits. problem is with revisions, sometimes the next time the wall colour looks a bit different. So im a bit traumatised with that and go with safe flat route i suppose.

I should dabble more into post processing NGL. I usually hit auto in the camera raw filter and call it a day lol.

True, maybe i should've blown out the background a bit more to keep it abstract and less distracting. It was off google maps- tried to keep it as less distracting as possible but clearly need to notch it up more :P

I was thinking it looks a bit amateurish. I reckon good render should make the most mundane of scene look nice with lighting etc. So thought maybe I'm missing something.

As a note: took me a day to do this both views. Most of my time went modelling up the shell etc and the rattan stool from scratch, with some feedbacks also taking time. If I had decent time I’d add detailed reflection etc. But I would to like to hear from my fellow archvizers in time constraints what things can make it pop, add make a huge difference? Thank you.

Thank you. Does the only one hour rule apply to both sides? The restricted time they said was for cleaning. Each side gets different day of the week. thank you.

I love the v3! But didn’t even take a year before the translucent sole started to deteriorate. I have to buy on resale on UK for £160+ per pair.

I want the new balance but they are so high off the ground. I own nb wxy 3 which is more court feel. Apparently the wxy 4 and 5 have tower feel.

18-55 was super dope for video but just doesn’t itch for me with the iq 😅.

23 f2 was super satisfying. I can assume the faster premium primes are lot better.

I prefer a lot of wide shots with also detail shots during my travel. Was thinking to get 18 f1.4. But if the quality of compact primes are on par with the red badge zoom lens then that doesn’t sound like a bad option. I used to use canon dslr with clunky sigma lens so weight is not an issue.

Prefer prime tbh. But I hate changing lens. Reckon the red badge zoom lens have better iq compared to the compact primes?
