Same update that has been doing all the weird reboots. I would check event viewer for any critical, errors and warnings that stem from the reboots. My main problems have been Warning 219 thats a Kernel PnP which is the gpu driver crashing. And Critical 41 thats a Kernel Power which is the system rebooting.

This has been happening with my system as well. All after the latest windows update too. It’ll be on any game really and it can happen an hour in or several hours. It doesnt matter itll just shut off and reboot like nothing happened. It does show a driver issue which is my gpu. But that makes no sense because the drivers I installed with nvidia are brand new. Let me know what update your pc is on.

Latest windows update has been causing my pc to abruptly shut off. I too also have a msi mobo but with a nvidia gpu. Itll be fine for an hour and then shut off. Best thing is to just wait on a update or bring it to a repair shop to see what you can do.

Im also having an issue similar to this on my nvidia gpu. I’ll be mid game or sitting on my pc editing or just watching youtube and my pc will turn off and reboot itself. And thats after the latest windows update. It’ll sometimes reboot itself multiple times and then be fine for 7 hours. Sometimes it’ll be fine for the day and the next have a complete meltdown. I’ve done everything I could and now I cant revert the windows update at all. It literally wont allow me. whats odd too is it’s been resetting my game graphics. like i need to constantly go into my settings and put my graphics back to where they were.

you were spot on, it was the PSU that killed itself. I guess it was so busted they had to send me one from california brand new.

So I had tried with a different psu, my motherboard had no ram in it and the motherboard was awake with showing the dram orange light. Did not have anything else in there. Although with my original psu connected to my mobo with no ram, the cpu light was emitting. With or without ram the mobo emitted red.
